Fresh2Health works to increase access to local, culturally-relevant, affordable foods by supporting and actualizing a just, secure food system through wellness education, resource sharing and cultivating community connections.

Alsie is an Atlanta-native that advocates and promotes the use of food as an organizing tool for healing and liberation. She is the Founder and Director of Fresh2health, that works to increase Black Food Sovereignty by amplifying community-based solutions for food and racial justice through the curation of digital platforms for networking and resource sharing. She carries this work into her healing modality, “Intimacy with Food”, facilitating community dialogue and wellness education that incorporates mindfulness practices, radical resistance, and honoring cultural traditions.

As the Art Director, Leslie relies on her design talent and passion for community to assist Fresh2Health in its goals of healing and liberation. She brings art direction, graphic design, user experience, web and mobile design to the team. And with more than seven years of experience improving the visibility, messaging, and results of non-profits, grassroots organizations, and small businesses, Leslie's dedication to integrating sound design solutions with community outreach goes unquestioned.
